"It wasn’t always apparent to me or to my family that homelessness and the co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders was such a major issue in so many parts of our country. However, through the eyes, words and deeds of our son and brother Kevan, we saw people of all ages in need of our help and support. Kevan had a sincere and genuine desire to help those struggling to obtain the basic necessities of life - food, clothing and shelter - and help them deal with the associated emotional and psychological disorders. Those efforts are carried on through the fundraising efforts of the Pennies From Kevan Foundation.
